The Voice
My name is Evy. I've been writing for as long as I can remember. It has always been one of the ways I explore what I feel and how I see the world.
I write about the things that move, trouble, fascinate, and unsettle me. Love and longing. Friendship and becoming. Society and its uncomfortable truths. Difficult emotions, human contradictions, the people who shape us, and the worlds my imagination creates.
Sometimes it begins with a moment I want to hold onto. A feeling I'm trying to understand. Other times, I simply let my mind wander, creating other worlds and imagining things beyond the one I know.
I don't always understand the things I write. I don't think I need to. Writing helps me make sense of things, but it just as easily leaves me with more questions. More than anything, I simply enjoy seeing where my mind takes me.
