A Fated ballad

If you were a painting,
I would colour you with abstract hues,
Colors not confined by earthly rules,
One must look within, to perceive your intricate being.
If you were a feeling,
I'd describe you as a tranquil lull,
A gentle hum, unwavering and still,
Fading in and out, like a whispered thrill.
If you were a voice,
I'd lean in close to hear you speak,
Every word, a steadfast drum,
In the silence, your presence I'd seek.
If you were a song,
Late in the night, I'd sing your tune,
A ditty sweet, beneath the moon's soft light,
Hoping to stumble into you in dreams that swoon.
If you were a storm,
I'd hasten into your wild embrace,
Basking in the chaos, a dance so stripped,
Finding solace in the tempest's grace.
If you were a tree,
Rooted in the earth so free,
I'd find shade beneath your face,
A sanctuary, where worries efface.
If you were lost,
Through realms unknown, I'd roam,
Traversing eternity, no matter the toll,
In the quest for you, my heart's true home.
If you were a long ballad,
Eternity would be my quill,
I would compose us in the verses,
Fating our story between the lines.
If you were you
I would make you mine
